Cyril Bornet, Ariunzaya Khayankhyarvaa and Vincent Barbay (Cybor SA) have developed the web interfaces for the textual and iconographic search engines based on a design by Gaƫl Paccard.
The deep learning algorithm for handwritten text recognition is developed by Sofia Ares Oliveira as part of the H2020 READ Project (15 institutions united to crack to algorithmic challenges of handwritten text recognition).
The iconographic search engine has been developed by Benoit Seguin, as part of the Replica project directed by Isabella di Lenardo.
Petr Pridal and his team (Klokan) are developing the Atlas featuring some geohistorical layers integrated by EPFL DHLAB 4D team (Isabella di Lenardo, Irene Bianchi, Federica Pardini, Foucauld Huard).
Historical annotations on which were trained machine learning algorithm were done by Francesca Zugno, Davide Drago, Andrea Erboso, Silvia Ferronato and Fabio Bortoluzzi.
The data featured in this first prototype from the State Archive of Venice and the Giorgio Cini Fondazione are part of the Venice Time Machine project.
